たまたま寄ったのだが武蔵美の図書館で開催中の「中村とうようコレクションでたどるポピュラー音楽の20世紀」展が素晴しい。入場無料なので、皆さんもぜひに。8月16日まで。

で、会場では時間制で大型円盤オルゴールや蓄音機で音楽を聴かせてくれるんだが、俺も大好きで特定曲コレクションプレイリストも作っているラテンの名曲『ラ・パロマ』のオルゴールが素晴しかった。 とうよう先生によれば同曲は「20世紀のポピュラー音楽を予見した」とのこと。凄く納得した。
